Superintendent's Office

The Warrensburg Central School District is located in Warren County in the town of Warrensburg. The district has two school buildings, one elementary school and one junior/senior high school, with enrollment in prekindergarten through grade 12. The Warrensburg Elementary School is located at 1 James St. in Warrensburg, New York. The Warrensburg Junior/Senior High School is located at 103 Schroon River Rd. in Warrensburg, New York. The school’s mascot is Burgher.

The district serves primarily the towns of Warrensburg and Thurman and sections of Lake George, Diamond Point, and Chestertown communities.

The Warrensburg Central School District has determined four areas of focus for our Long Range Plan: Academics, Wellness, Community Engagement, and Character. Over the next few years, we will announce and execute our plans to meet these goals.

  • Academics Goal: Deliver instructional and assessment practices aligned to a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Wellness Goal: Provide social-emotional learning SEL and wellness opportunities for students and staff to create a safe and supportive school community. 
  • Community Engagement Goal: Increase engagement and involvement for families and the school community through communication and outreach programs.
  • Character Goals: Promote and develop character traits that create a positive school culture and community
