Class of 2025: Top Ten
The Warrensburg Central School District is proud to announce the Top Ten students of the Class of 2025. This recognition honors the students with the highest cumulative GPAs in the graduating class. The students are listed in order of their academic ranking.
Eliana York is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2025. She is the daughter of Carrie Winslow and Jarrod York of Warrensburg. Eliana is a member of the Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams, as well as Student Council. Eliana will be attending Clarkson University to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering and continuing her basketball career.
Ava Lohrey is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2025. She is the daughter of Holly O’Meara and Eric Lohrey of Warrensburg. Ava participated in the International Baccalaureate Program at Queensbury High School and will earn both her IB Diploma and her Advanced Regents Diploma. She is a member of the Math Club and Warren County Youth Bureau. Ava will be attending Clarkson University’s Honors College, where she will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering through the Solinsky Engineers Program.
Calista Steves is the daughter of Carla Sherman and Henry Steves of Warrensburg. Calista is the Secretary of the National Honor Society and Student Council, and as Treasurer for the Class of 2025. She will be attending Union College in the fall in hopes of continuing on to Law School.
Kai Healy is the son of Candice Healy of Warrensburg. He is a member of the Drama Club and Art Club in Warrensburg. After graduation, Kai plans to pursue a career in graphic design.
Maria Fruda is the daughter of Paige and Tony Fruda of Athol. She is a three-sport varsity athlete, competing in soccer, basketball, and softball. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Maria will be attending SUNY Adirondack in the fall to study Health Education.
Chloe Baker is the daughter of Megan and Joshua Baker of Warrensburg. She serves as Vice President of the National Honor Society and President of the Art Club, and she is a three-sport varsity athlete. Chloe will attend SUNY Brockport in the fall to pursue a degree in Forensic Science.
Madison Goodspeed is the daughter of Brittany Hamblin and Craig Goodspeed of Warrensburg. She is a member of the Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams and enjoys working out and spending time with her family. Madison will be attending SUNY Geneseo in the fall to study Physical Therapy and continue her soccer career.
Benjamin Holcomb is the son of Jeffrey and Jennifer Holcomb of Queensbury. He enjoys working out, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family. Benjamin will attend Keuka College in the fall to major in Business Management and Leadership.
Kaitlyn Sesselman is the daughter of Jamie and Dan Sesselman of Thurman. She is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team as well as the National Honor Society. Kaitlyn participated in the Early College Career Academy Program for Business and Entrepreneurship and will continue her college education at SUNY Plattsburgh to major in Business Administration.
Avril LaFountain is the daughter of Jessica and Alan LaFountain of Warrensburg. She is a member of the Varsity Soccer team and the National Honor Society. Avril will be attending Ithaca College to pursue a degree in Psychology as well as play club soccer.
