The Warrensburg CSD Board of Education and administrative team have worked collaboratively throughout the school year to develop a budget proposal that is both fiscally responsible to taxpayers and aligned with the needs and goals stated in our Long-Range Plan.
The proposed budget will not only support the student pathway programs that have empowered students to explore potential careers while still in our classrooms, but also position the district for a strong fiscal future. In light of anticipated changes in aid structures, rising costs and shifting enrollment, this investment in our financial wellbeing will help ensure the district can continue to responsively serve future generations of students and our community.
The proposed 2025-26 budget of $23,765,514 reflects a $27,769 (0.12%) increase over the 2024–25 school year. This proposal would support strategic developments in our key areas of academics, wellness, community engagement and character development. The proposed tax levy for the 202526 school year is $8,228,078, which is below the district’s state-mandated tax levy limit. The proposed tax levy amount is a 2% increase over the 2024-25 school year.
Our Board of Education, administrative team, faculty and staff remain committed to our mission: to educate, nurture, and empower students within a safe and supportive environment so they may become respectful and successful citizens of the global community. With the proposed budget and our plans for the upcoming school year, we are confident we can achieve our goals.
