Save the date! The Warrensburg Elementary Drama Club will be performing Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. for the community on March 14^th and 15^th and 7pm in the Warrensburg High School Auditorium! Ticket can be bought through the pre-sale or at the door. The tickets will cost $5 per person, children under 4 years old do not need to purchase tickets. You can also purchase family tickets (covers 4-6 attendees) for $20.

Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery. When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.

Alice in Wonderland JR. features Disney favorites such as “The Golden Afternoon,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red” along with brand-new songs, including music from the 2010 live-action film. Whether this is your first experience with Alice or your hundredth, you’ll fall in love all over again with this timeless story of adventure, imagination, and pure fun!

Our elementary school is proud to be partnered with the Positivity Project. The Project promotes the self-discovery Alice finds in the story by encouraging student to identify and understand their own character strengths, which are positive traits like kindness, perseverance, or creativity, allowing them to build self-awareness and utilize these strengths more effectively in their lives. This focus on self-discovery has come to life on stage during rehearsals, and our students are thrilled to entertain and inspire others with their talents!
