WES Chooses Kindness with Positivity Project
At the December Pride Assembly, the Elementary School celebrated students and staff who exemplify the character trait of kindness! Kind individuals are generous to others and never too busy to lend a helping hand. They take joy in doing good deeds for those around them.
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, the Elementary School joined The Positivity Project to incorporate the practice of valuable character traits into daily lessons. Each month, a specific character trait is selected as the focus for the next four weeks. Founded by two veterans who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, The Positivity Project integrates character development into academic learning.
Thirteen of our staff members received awards for their kindness. Congratulations to Mrs. Griffin, Ms. Schloss, Mrs. Schwartz, Mrs. Morehouse, Mrs. Lamy, Ms. Fish, Ms. Durham, Mrs. Chhim-Parisi, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Wessling, and Mrs. Bull! Thank you for serving as role models for our students.
